GUBERNUR ANIES MENINJAU GELARAN JAKARTA E-PRIX JELANG BALAPAN

Governor: Jakarta E-Prix is Our Dedication to Indonesia

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan inspected the preparation for Jakarta E-Prix a few hours before the race, on Saturday (6/4) morning.

Everything is well organized and we have worked with maximum effort

Amid the inspection, he was visiting the circuit by trying the safety car driven by Bruno Correia.

"Thank God, Formula E will start soon. Everything is well organized and we have worked with maximum effort. Now, we just have to pray that everything goes well," he mentioned when met at the Jakarta E-Prix paddock, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

"I met some drivers and tried a safety car to get around the circuit. It feels great," he expressed.

He also conveyed that the success of the Jakarta E-Prix event was largely determined by thorough, detailed, and comprehensive preparation.

"There are three keys, namely planning, planning, and planning. Not improvisation halfway down. It is proven, from a track that is not up to 3 kilometers, but the cable reaches 65 kilometers. Simple yet sophisticated," he stated.

He also conveyed the Jakarta E-Prix was dedicated to the pride of Indonesia, as well as a form of Jakarta's readiness to take part in anticipating climate change and saving the earth and the environment.

"We present the Jakarta E-Prix for Indonesia, where Jakarta is ready to move towards big cities in the world that care about the environment," he asserted.

"This is not just a car race, but it is our response to the global climate change and Jakarta is participating in efforts to save the earth and the environment as our shared responsibility," he stated.
